Meet the Manager

I am very pleased to bring to you my service of information and assistance.

As a Registered Nurse in my past positions as Director of Care of an Aged Care Facility, Coordinator of a rural Palliative Care Service and Clinical Manager of an acute care Mental Health Facility I have worked with people living with many diverse issues. I have always been driven by a desire to empower and enrich the lives of the people I work with. I know that the pathways to understanding and accessing services of assistance are not always easy to determine. The difficult circumstances of health change is further complicated when people are not easily available to be of personal help or cannot get time off from work to focus on solving issues. I know personally, and have seen through the various roles I have held, that periods of change are very stressful for everyone and sometimes seemingly impossible to manage. This is why I am offering my knowledge and experience – to be an additional provider of information, to share the work of making enquiries, to lighten the load, to clarify what is needed and then offer my time to work for you to find the right solutions.

You may only need to use this website to help you determine your pathway to services of aged care assistance however I am here to also be of practical and emotional help to you and your family. Please refer to the fees section where you will see that much of what I offer is free of cost.
