December News
Although we are in the middle of holiday season I thought it the perfect time to circulate a newsletter from the 6 month old ‘Aged Care Assistance’.
You may have time to read it through – or you may know people who have had extra difficulty coping with all sorts of adversity at a time when the world is meant to be celebrating – and they need an alternative to consider or helpful direction.
In this newsletter you will find information on:
- The DPS Guide to Aged Care Services
- Elder Abuse Conference 2016
- Recommended resources for emotional redirection and support – websites and facebook
- Commonwealth Home Support Program registration process
- CHSP ‘Living well at Home’ guide
- More Aged Care changes – Aged Care Complaints Commissioner commences 1.1.16
- Compulsory Reporting
- Home Care Packages operational manual
- Home Care COTA education offerings summer 2016
- Advance Care Directives
- Consumer Directed Care in Home Care Packages
Business is slow but the circumstances I have been called to have found acceptable solutions which have been very rewarding for all involved.
It always excites me when I see people relaxing during times of disorder and distress.
They begin making decisions with confidence simply due to being better informed and having a source of support to refer to when questions arise.
Thank you to those within our friendship group who have referred people to contact me.
Remember I am only a phone call away – even for a simple enquiry – always happy to be of help.
As we step toward the end of 2015 and into 2016 I encourage you to pursue joy and love because these are great fortitudes to the harsher realities of everyday life.
Kind regards,
Felicity Hage
