Me & My Baba. Yuri Kuzyakin.

We know it can be very daunting to understand Aged Care options and processes required to access support. And we know that this occurs on top of an already heightened emotional and stressful time during times of sudden change. It is our strong desire to be of help to assist you in any way meaningful to you to reduce the issues and share the tasks with you. We work holistically, that is, in consideration for all aspects of living needs – practical, physical, emotional, psychological, cultural, social, spiritual for we know that if all aspects of life are being catered for to the best of a person’s individual needs, then they will cope more strongly, be more resilient and ultimately able to feel joy and pleasure no matter what their circumstances. We will be adding notes and documents to our ‘blog’ section to reinforce these holistic aspects of healthy happy living – for people of all ages. Accepting help and making the most of a difficult situation doesn’t grow naturally in most of us. Utilising our supports and knowledge helps. We can be part of your central support if you wish.

Testimonial

“I first met Felicity in a professional capacity whilst working as a Clinical Nurse Consultant at the Tanunda Hospital over twenty years ago, when Felicity set up one of South Australia’s first Rural Palliative Care services.

This service was ground breaking at the time and Felicity’s expertise, knowledge and professionalism made a huge impact on the quality of holistic care that clients in the region received. Her compassion and ability to communicate underpinned everything she did, whether it was with her clients, their families, hospital staff or the medical profession.

Since this time I have continued to follow Felicity’s professional career and have got to know her personally.

From both my professional and personal views, I am delighted Felicity has chosen to start her own business, Aged Care Assistance.

Felicity’s many personal attributes, in particular her ability to empathise and communicate, combined with her extensive Palliative Care experience and Director of Care role at the Tanunda Lutheran Home, places her in the perfect position to be able to guide and assist people as they negotiate the Aged Care system.

Personally, I am reassured that Felicity will be available in a professional capacity to assist me when required, so I will know that any decisions being made for my own parents in the future are the right ones.

I have no hesitation in recommending Felicity’s business, knowing that her clients will be in the best possible hands.”
